Hours: 40 per week
FT/PT/Temp: Full Time
Exempt status: Non-exempt
Work mode: Hybrid (Pasadena)
Reports to: Director of Enrollment
Objective: This position serves as one of Fuller's primary representatives and degree program enthusiasts to prospective students and applicants as they research and evaluate graduate-level degree programs in the areas of mission, theology, and psychology, and as they move through the admissions and enrollment processes at Fuller. In conjunction with Fuller's Strategic Communication and Global Recruitment teams, this person builds, maintains, and nurtures relationships with prospective students and applicants through the admissions funnel with the goal of meeting or exceeding personal and shared enrollment goals for each intake quarter. Through in-person and virtual counseling, email and text communication, telephone calls, and recruitment events, this role serves the needs of applicants in communicating the values and benefits of Fuller's academic programs. In addition, this person serves as a member of the Admissions Committee and participates in the evaluation of applications for admission into academic programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Works with the Global Recruitment team to create and build relationships with qualified applicants to Fuller's academic programs, maintaining ongoing contact from application to matriculation in order to meet Fuller's shared admissions goals
Maintains a portfolio of assigned inquiries and applicants, through the use of electronic databases, in order to adequately and efficiently build and maintain relationships with prospective students and move them through the admissions funnel to reach both individual and team goals
Counsels prospective students on a daily basis, both in person and electronically, fielding a high volume of telephone, text and email contacts about Fuller's degree and certificate programs
Communicates the values, mission, and vision of Fuller and its Admissions Office to applicants and can articulate how a program's features and benefits align with the applicant's calling and vocational goals
Clearly understands and articulates the application requirements and processes for Fuller's academic programs
In collaboration with the Student Financial Services team, guides contacts through the financial aid process to the point of enrollment confirmation, answering questions and offering proactive guidance on matters relating to financial aid options,, forms, processes and timelines
Evaluates applicant files and participates in the decision making process of admissions committees for select master's-level applications
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment
Secondary Responsibilities:
Serve as the Admissions Office's liaison to various program committees, academic centers and recruitment meetings.
Assist in facilitating prospective student events
Contribute to interdepartmental initiatives to improve Fuller's applicant and student experience and assist in reaching Fuller's shared headcount goals
Participate in offsite recruiting events as needed
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree required, graduate theological experience highly preferred
Admissions experience highly desirable
Spanish or Korean fluency highly desirable
Ability to relate to people from a variety of ethnic and theological backgrounds
General competency with computers, including familiarity with relational databases
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word and Excel
Familiarity with Google applications
Familiarity with Salesforce highly desirable
Customer service orientation necessary
Ability to learn about academic programs in detail
Ability to sustain high levels of production, coordinate activities of complex nature, and exercise independent judgment
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Professional phone and office manner
Must be able to work well on a team

Must be willing to abide by Fuller Community Standards
This is a hybrid position primarily working from the Pasadena, CA campus, with some availability to work from home
Pay Scale:
Hourly rate the seminary expects to pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour, USD
