Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, walking (including large or hard-to-control dogs), and enrichment activities that support physical and mental well-being.
• Closely observe animals and promptly report any signs of illness, injury, or communicable disease to ensure timely veterinary care.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain kennels, animal housing, and work areas to uphold high standards of sanitation and animal health.
• Perform dishwashing and laundering tasks to support daily operations and infection control.
• Assist with animal intake, including vaccinations, as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and veterinary staff to ensure animals receive consistent, compassionate care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned in support of shelter operations.
