Owned by the City of La Quinta and managed by Landmark Golf Management, SilverRock Resort's Arnold Palmer Classic Course is a challenging 7,239 yards, sprawling over 200 acres with massive native bunkers and stunning water features. Set against the backdrop and natural beauty of the Santa Rosa Mountains, SilverRock is a former home course of the PGA Tour's American Express Golf Tournament from 2008-2011.

The surrounding development of SilverRock has turned the corner with an exciting new developer, Turnbridge Equities. The reenvisioned plans for a luxury hotel, spa, conference center, permanent clubhouse, and branded residences are underway with a tentative completion date of 2029.

Experience Required

Must be a PGA Member or Apprentice in good standing.

Associates degree (AA, AS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical/professional school; or one-year related experience and/or training.

An elevated level of customer service is a requirement of elected candidate. This candidate must possess a willingness to participate in all aspects of the operation, understand tournament operations and be a collaborative member of the team. Also required are strong organizational skills, both written and verbal communication skills, and initiative-taking. We will consider all levels of members and apprentices if the applicant possesses the above qualification.

Experience with GolfNow Premier and Golf Genius a plus.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise golf operations in a professional and effective manner in the absence of the Head Golf Professional and/or General Manager
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all customers.
• Manage pace-of-play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection; coordinate information and/or solutions with the starters/rangers.
• Provide golf instruction that is professional in its execution and methods; and is consistent with the policies & procedures of SilverRock Resort/Landmark Golf Management
• Supervise, schedule, train golf shop personnel as directed by the Head Golf Professional
• Assist as needed in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion, and sales of merchandise.
• Remained informed on, and promote all activities that serve in the interest of SilverRock Resort
• Assist in the maintenance and/or execution of golf outings.
• Complete the requirements to remain in good standing with the PGA of America
• Required to perform any other task requested by management.
