Responsibilities
Directs the activities of a business systems analysis function for software enhancements and new products. Provides leadership for those involved in the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Partners with various internal and external business partners to define solutions, elaborate requirements and craft functional designs. Provides project leadership, application-specific subject matter expertise and technical insight as they relate to the system's business requirements. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; OR
- Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience; OR
Required Skills & Experience
- Servant leadership with demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members
- Deep agile process expertise with proficiency in scrum/agile management across multiple teams
- Strong analytical skills for complex business problem-solving
- Ability to bridge business requirements with technical design
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
- Budget management and resource allocation capabilities
- Performance management and talent development expertise
- Proficiency in creating and enforcing solution documentation standards
- Experience with system design methodologies and documentation standards
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with medical billing systems, healthcare claims, workers' compensation management
- Background in claims examiner oversight and medical bill review operations
- Experience managing teams across multiple products or platforms
- Background in financial services or related industry
- Experience with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
- Previous experience transitioning teams from waterfall to agile methodologies
