$423,360 – Board Certified*

*Providers who are physically located at and assigned to direct in-person care on grounds or at a facility, shall receive a pay differential equivalent to 15% of their monthly base pay.

Within one of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s (CDCR) State-owned and -operated correctional facilities, you’ll lead a team of dedicated psychiatrists providing comprehensive mental health care to a diverse and clinically complex patient population.

Requirements

• A current California Medical License, certification to practice psychiatry
  AND
• Minimum two years of experience practicing psychiatry in a psychiatric inpatient or outpatient setting or a correctional facility
  AND
• The ability to prepare and supervise the preparation of comprehensive medical reports, case histories, and hospital records; and the capacity to coordinate, supervise, guide, and evaluate the work of professional employees.
