Pay Range: $25 to $29.80/per hour (based on experience)
Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking an innovative and talented Deduction Analyst to join its team at its corporate office in Lodi, CA. The Deductions Analyst is responsible for investigating, validating, and resolving customer deductions to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely recovery of invalid claims. This role works cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Billing, and Finance to identify root causes, reduce recurring deductions, and support continuous improvement in the order‑to‑cash process.
Primary Responsibilities
- Investigate customer deductions by reviewing relevant documents including invoices, proof of delivery (POD), purchase orders, and customer portals to determine validity.
- Analyze deduction trends to identify patterns, root causes, and process gaps.
- Classify deductions accurately (e.g., pricing, shortages, returns, freight, promotional).
- Resolve valid deductions according to established guidelines.
- Dispute and recover invalid deductions with supporting documentation.
- Partner with Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to verify claims, resolve shipment discrepancies, and recover invalid deductions.
- Communicate status updates and resolution timelines to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of deduction activity within ERP or deduction management systems.
- Assist with audits by providing deduction backup and historical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 24 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or deduction management
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Proficiency with ERP or deduction resolutions systems (e.g., Oracle, JD Edwards, High Radius, Eskar) and Excel.
- Strong communication skills to manage disputes with customers and collaborate internally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay Range: $25 to $29.80/hourly (based on experience). This is a full-time, on-site role based out of our corporate office in Lodi, CA. This position is eligible for the annual profit-sharing bonus program.
The pay range reflects the reasonable expectation for what the company anticipates paying for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to:
