Description
As a key builder in our rapidly expanding organization, the Director of Patient Services will architect and scale a nextgeneration patient access technology ecosystem from the ground up. This role is ideal for an innovative, resourceful leader who thrives in dynamic environments, seizes opportunity, and brings bold ideas to life. You will drive the strategy, implementation, and continuous evolution of cuttingedge solutions—including emerging, generative, and agentic AI—to transform the patient and provider experience and deliver a modern, techenabled access model.
Working across Patient & Channel Services, IT, Market Access, and Commercial Operations, you will shape how patients, HCPs, and channel partners interact with our solutions. You'll operate with an ownership mindset, build strong crossfunctional alignment, and champion scalable processes as we grow. You will also serve as a key voice to senior leadership, sharing insights, roadmaps, and business recommendations that fuel our momentum. This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities but requires exceptional influence, executional leadership, and entrepreneurial drive.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and own the strategic vision for a bestinclass patient access technology ecosystem that can scale with the company's growth.
- Lead the design and operationalization of innovative platforms and emerging technologies—including generative and agentic AI—to transform hub-like services, reimbursement support, and patient experience.
- Drive the execution of virtual hub services through smart integration of CRM, data infrastructure, and modern digital capabilities.
- Ensure performance excellence across hub channel pharmacies, consistently elevating service levels and driving continuous improvement.
- Partner proactively with stakeholders to ensure alignment, accelerate decisionmaking, and eliminate obstacles to speed and scale.
- Present strategies, analytics, and forwardlooking roadmaps to senior leadership and crossfunctional committees.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, and vendor relationships with a disciplined, ownerlike mindset.
- Ensure technology operations meet all security, quality, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate, test, and implement new solutions with an agile, experimentationfriendly approach that balances innovation with compliance.
Education & Licenses and Experience
- Master's degree with 8 years or bachelor's degree with 10 years of biopharmaceutical patient services and/or related technology enablement experience.
- Leadership in patient access and support programs and technology within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with patient access specifically in drug reimbursement, hub operations, specialty pharmacy trade, and patient services.
- Proficient in deploying CRM and digital solutions for patient access within pharma with 6+ years in delivering digital solutions in healthcare or pharma.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and influence crossfunctional partners in a matrixed environment.
- Track record of building, scaling, or transforming programs—ideally within a highgrowth or entrepreneurial setting.
