- Investment Product Specialist
Description
As an Investment Product Specialist encompassing both traditional and alternative asset classes, you will play a vital role in accelerating the adoption of AlphaCore investment solutions through education and outreach. The Investment Product Specialist will act as a trusted conduit between the Research team and financial advisors, serving as a subject matter expert on our investment offerings with both advisors and end clients while maintaining a high level of service.
Primary Responsibilities
Investment Expertise: As a member of the Research team, you will become a knowledgeable resource on both traditional and alternative strategies. This subject matter expertise will extend across the menu of AlphaCore approved investments.
Advisor Education: Help to educate advisors on the firm’s available offerings, and be able to fully address technical, product and performance inquiries.
Client and Prospect Engagement: Interact with clients and prospects to understand their investment needs, present portfolio construction solutions, and speak knowledgeably about specific investments.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive research reports, client proposals, investment memos, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Custom Solutions: Provide guidance on more custom solutions for complex financial planning cases, contributing to portfolio construction where necessary.
Opportunistically travel for client engagement or advisor support (if relevant).
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or MBA with 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry in an investment role that could encompass areas such as investment research, business development or relationship management (private market experience preferred).
Progress towards CFA, CAIA, or similar professional designation preferred.

Expectations
Full-time in office role.
Location preferred Bethesda, MD office.
