Description: Fox Rothschild LLP, a national law firm, has an opening for a Litigation Associate in our San Francisco, CA office. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience in complex commercial litigation, and will be a collaborative and productive member of a dynamic team handling a broad range of disputes, including commercial, business, real estate, corporate governance, and bankruptcy matters consistent with our San Francisco Litigation Department. The candidate is expected to spend the majority of time in-office. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills required.
• Experience with commercial litigation, including motion practice, written discovery, depositions, and e-discovery.
• Experience with business disputes, commercial landlord tenant, corporate governance, and bankruptcy is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• Experience in a large law firm or sophisticated litigation boutique is preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

Visual Acuity

• Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Compensation & Benefits:

• The salary range for this position applies to California. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $230,000-$250,000.
