We are building a “fertility clinic in the cloud” – a precision, virtual-first model focused on better outcomes, lower costs, and a dramatically better patient experience.
Our first product, Beyond Fertility, transforms the confusing “trying to conceive” experience into a personalized, data-driven journey using comprehensive diagnostics, predictive care pathways, and a high-touch virtual care team. We partner with leading REI clinics and academic institutions to deliver care that is smarter, earlier, and more targeted.
We are now hiring our first APP to help deliver this care model from the ground up.
The Role
This is a founding clinical role for an APP who wants to practice at the top of their license while helping build a new model of fertility care.
You will serve as the primary clinical point of contact for most Beyond Fertility patients, delivering both virtual and in-person care. Your virtual care scope will include diagnostic review, patient visits, treatment support (prescribing and titrating medications), and longitudinal patient care. In person you will perform fertility-specific ultrasound, including ultrasound guided imaging such as tubal testing.
You will work under the clinical supervision of a Reproductive Endocrinologist and in close collaboration with fertility nurses, care coordinators, and the Beyond product and operations teams.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for most patient consultations
Provide longitudinal care and follow-up visits across the patient journey
Ultrasound & In-Clinic Procedures
Perform transvaginal ultrasound examinations at Beyond Fertility clinical sites including:
Baseline Fertility Assessment
Follicle Tracking
Endometriosis Focused U/S
Conduct fertility-related procedural imaging, including:
Saline infusion sonohysterography (SIS)
Tubal patency testing (e.g., HyCoSy)
Ensure high-quality image acquisition for REI interpretation
Diagnostic Review & Escalation
Perform first-pass clinical review of all new patient diagnostic results
Synthesize findings into care plans using established protocols
Escalate complex or higher-acuity cases to the REI based on defined criteria
Treatment Support
Support and manage fertility treatment protocols within APP scope, including:
Oral ovulation induction cycles under REI supervision
Fertility-related medication prescribing and titration
GLP-1 prescribing and monitoring under established protocols and physician oversight
Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans in collaboration with the REI
Build With the Company
Partner with product and operations teams to improve clinical workflows
Help shape the patient experience in a hybrid fertility care model
Contribute to patient education materials and clinical content
Support onboarding and training of future clinical team members
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with experience in fertility care
On-site clinical presence in Minneapolis and/or San Francisco with active licensure in Minnesota and/or California (or eligible to obtain)
Experience performing transvaginal ultrasound
Experience with ovulation induction and fertility medication management
Excited to take a holistic approach to fertility care (e.g. incorporating treating metabolic and mental health conditions)
Comfortable delivering care in both virtual and in-person settings
Strong patient communication and counseling skills
Comfortable working under physician supervision
Interest in technology-enabled care delivery and clinical innovation
Excited to help build something new
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
This role is:
Hybrid (virtual + in-clinic in Minneapolis and/or San Francisco)
Patient-facing and clinically substantive
Focused on diagnostics, imaging, and longitudinal care
Practicing at the top of NP scope under REI supervision
Upstream of IVF and procedural fertility care
This role is not:
Running IVF or IUI cycles independently
Performing embryo transfer or retrieval procedures
An administrative-only role
A purely navigational role
