Location 

• Purpose built state of the art relaxing clinic space near the beach in Brighton, one of Melbourne’s premium suburbs, close to the CBD.
• In-person, telehealth or hybrid arrangements available.
• Our clinic is located in a District of Workforce Shortage (DWS) area for psychiatry in Brighton, Victoria enabling doctors within their 10 year moratorium to join us.
• We have in office shower facilities for those who wish to cycle to work, swim on their lunch break or head to the gym. 

Centre of Excellence

• As an outpatient practice we provide person centred, evidence based care for non-acute child and adolescent and adult mental health presentations. 
• We support you in your career goals, you can develop your specialty area of practice, enjoy working with a breath of cases, get involved with our research oppourtunities or explore your future in leadership.
• We offer expertise and free training in Neurodevelopmental Disorders whilst also offering broad general psychiatry services.

Enjoy your Practice

• Our dedicated administrative and allied health assistant support team takes care of the administrative demands so you can love what you do.
• For new assessments, Kin Clinic allied health assistants take care of intake forms and questionnaires for report preparation before you see the client, this enables you to focus on the diagnostic interview and assessment. 
• Kin Clinic Practice Management team take care of billing, medicare, bookings and advertising.
• Structured onboarding with support every step of the way.

Requirements

We are seeking Psychiatrists who share our mission to change lives through evidence based compassionate practice and who wish to be part of a friendly MDT. 

There is one position available in child and adolescent psychiatry and one position available in general adult. 

Requirements: 

• Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), or near completion,  or UK citizen with CCT completion eligible for the accelerated pathway.
• AHPRA Specialist Registration, or near completion, or eligibility through the accelerated pathway (UK).
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or UK citizen willing to relocate.
•  Australia wide & UK applicants welcome, Melbourne based preferred.
• Psychiatrists under the 10-year moratorium are welcome to apply — our clinic is located in a District of Workforce Shortage (DWS) area for psychiatry in Brighton, Victoria
• Must have a passion for excellence in evidence based patient care and a compassionate approach
• ABN, clean police check, and eligibility for a Medicare provider number

Clinicians who are able to work a day or more in the Brighton office and open to a broad range of referral types are preferred
