Senior Joint Exercise Logistics Integrator - MarineSenior Joint Exercise Logistics Integrator - Marine Twentynine Palms, CA The Senior Joint Exercise Logistics Integrator will analyze, create (new)/modify (existing), validate, and document exercise products for MCLOG personnel and personnel participating in MCLOG training programs in the fundamentals, principles, techniques, processes and best practices associated with the planning/execution of Joint logistics (e.g., Theater Level Logistics) at the operational and tactical level of war. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in exercise/wargame planning and design (e.g., Concept Development Conference (CDC), Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Main Planning Conference (MPC), and Final Planning Conference (FPC)) to support MCLOG exercises/training events/wargames and exercises/training events/wargames in which MCLOG participates.
- Provide logistics expertise in support of analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating Joint logistics considerations within MCLOG's training programs.
- Create exercise products that will replicate the role of theater logistics activities in support of a Joint Force within a theater in order to realistically support training objectives.
- Use Joint exercise design knowledge concepts to provide a constructive training environment for exercises/training events/wargames to observe learning outcomes.
- Develop geographically-specific, reality-based, theater-level logistics scenarios, threads, and injects for inclusion into Joint Master Scenario Events List (JMSEL) for MCLOG exercises/training events/wargames.
- Provide Joint logistics role-player support by performing role player functions and/or by providing training and instruction to personnel designated to fill Joint logistics role player assignments during exercises, training events, and wargames.
- Provide recommendations to MCLOG to design future exercises to more effectively train commanders of logistics organizations and senior logistics staff officers.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Completion of Marine Corps University career level school at the appropriate level or service equivalent is required.
- Candidates must have at least 10 years of military service as an officer or SNCO in logistics and must be well versed in the Marine Corps Planning Process.
- Experience writing MAGTF or joint operations orders.
- The ideal candidate is a retired field grade officer or SNCO who has experience working on an O6 staff or higher, with at least three years of exercise development and control experience.
- Knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the operational command level.
- Practical knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process is required
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and/or SharePoint.
- Provides joint logistics expertise to all areas of the MCLOG program.
- Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
- A NATO Secret Clearance is required for this position.
