Description

Bayside Anesthesia, a physician only group, is offering several full-time partnership track positions for general anesthesiologists with experience in regional and OB anesthesia.  This amazing job provides a unique opportunity to practice high quality anesthesia for both easy and complex cases since there are surgical fellowship programs (minimally invasive neurosurgery and surgical oncology) within a boutique community hospital.  Our income structure is based on time rather than units accrued, so scheduling is fair and transparent.  Call stipends are bountiful. The income potential is very high for associates, starting at $300/hr, translating to a range of $500,000 to $800,000 in production even with 5 weeks of vacation.  Annual raises are given to promote excellence and retention.  The average income for partners is over $700,000 for less work.  Some partners earn in the seven figure range.  Partnership track is 3 years.

This is a lifestyle driven group.  Vacation is on demand and is available in excess of 5 weeks/year.  

There is no trauma and no transplants.

Pediatric cases are minimal and not required since we have a pediatric anesthesia team.

Requirements

A typical work week consists of 35-50+ hrs earned.  Days typically end around 3-5pm.  Calls 1-6 relieve lower calls so people can go home sooner.

1-2 First, second, or third calls (taken from home, 30 min call back time) per month. 

1-2 OB (in-house) calls per month.

Proficiency in basic regional blocks (spinal, epidural, adductor canal, interscalene, supraclavicular, TAP blocks) preferred

-General, Orthopedics, Robotic, Spine, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastics, Surgical Oncology, Cath Lab, GI/Pulmonary/Pathology, Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, OMF, IR, MRI, OB

-No trauma, no transplants

-Occasional Vascular/Thoracic

-Very minimal Pediatrics
