Studio Golf is a premium indoor golf performance, fitness, wellness and social club designed for golfers who want to improve their game and train like athletes. Our studios combine state-of-the-art golf simulators, expert coaching, strength training, recovery services, and a high-end social environment.

Members use Studio Golf to practice, train, compete, and connect with other golfers in a private, technology-driven environment. In addition to memberships, our locations host corporate events, private lessons, leagues, and brand activations.

Studio Golf South Bay is our flagship locations serving golfers, professionals, and corporate clients throughout the Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, and greater Los Angeles area.

Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Studio Golf South Bay location, including membership growth, revenue performance, operations, staff leadership, and delivering a premium member experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building community, driving membership sales, executing corporate events, and ensuring that the facility operates at the highest level. The General Manager will work closely with Studio Golf Management Co. leadership while managing the day-to-day operations of the studio.

Key Responsibilities
Staff Leadership
Hire, train, and manage front desk staff while working with Studio Golf Management Co to hire and manage coaches and instructors
Schedule staffing to ensure proper coverage and high service levels
Provide ongoing training and performance management
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture
Â
Facility & Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of golf simulators, gym equipment, and wellness areas
Ensure all technology systems are functioning properly (TrackMan, booking systems, etc.)
Coordinate maintenance and vendor relationships
Maintain operational processes and policies
Â
Member Experience
Deliver a best-in-class hospitality experience for all members and guests
Ensure the studio is consistently clean, organized, and operating at a luxury standard
Build strong relationships with members and create a welcoming community
Address member concerns quickly and professionally
Organize and execute Member Events to build community and increase retention
Â
Financial Performance
Manage location revenue and expense performance
Monitor key metrics including memberships, events, lessons, and simulator utilization
Provide reporting and insights to Studio Golf leadership and Accounting teams
Â
Membership Growth & Sales
Work with Studio Golf South Bay's Sales Manager to drive new membership sales through tours, outreach, and local partnerships
Maintain a high membership retention rate through strong service and engagement
Work with Studio Golf South Bay's Sales Manager to manage inbound leads and convert prospective members into active memberships
Execute local marketing initiatives and community engagement
Build relationships with golf clubs, corporate partners, and local businesses

Corporate Events & Revenue Generation
Work with Studio Golf South Bay's Sales Manager to drive corporate event bookings and private group experiences
Develop relationships with companies in the South Bay business community
Work with Studio Golf leadership on pricing, packages, and promotional initiatives
Ensure all events are executed at a premium hospitality standard

Coaching & Instruction Oversight
Support golf coaches and instructors in building lesson businesses
Monitor lesson activity and ensure high quality coaching experiences
Promote player development programs, clinics, and leagues
Â
Qualifications
3+ years experience managing a hospitality, fitness, golf, or membership-based business
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience in sales, membership growth, or business development
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Passion for golf, fitness, or sports performance preferred
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
