Paediatric Speech Pathologist (New Grads Welcome!)

What you’ll be doing
You’ll support children and families across a range of communication needs, including:
Speech sound disorders
Language delays and disorders
Fluency (stuttering)
Social communication differences
Early literacy
Developmental conditions
Orofacial myofunctional disorders
Your role will include:
Assessments and goal-setting that actually reflect real life
Delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy
Building strong, long-term relationships with families
Collaborating with educators and allied health professionals
Keeping admin simple—notes and essential client paperwork only

Requirements:
Speech Pathology qualification + registration
Driver’s licence and access to a reliable car

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills in paediatric assessment and intervention
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload
- Motivated, proactive, and self-directed clinician
- Fun, engaging, and positive approach to working with children and families
- Values work-life balance and flexible working arrangements
- Experience or willingness to work collaboratively with daycares, teachers, schools, and families, providing functional, holistic support for children with a range of communication difficulties, including neurodivergent and complex clients
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Commitment to family-centred, evidence-based practice
- Willingness to travel locally within a designated service area
