Paediatric Speech Pathologist (New Grads Welcome!)

What you’ll be doing You’ll support children and families across a range of communication needs, including:
Speech sound disorders Language delays and disorders Fluency (stuttering) Social communication differences Early literacy Developmental conditions Orofacial myofunctional disorders
Your role will include:
Assessments and goal-setting that actually reflect real life Delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy Building strong, long-term relationships with families Collaborating with educators and allied health professionals Keeping admin simple—notes and essential client paperwork only

Requirements
Job Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
Current membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia
Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Strong clinical skills in paediatric assessment and intervention
Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload
Motivated, proactive, and self-directed clinician
Fun, engaging, and positive approach to working with children and families
Values work-life balance and flexible working arrangements
Experience or willingness to work collaboratively with daycares, teachers, schools, and families, providing functional, holistic support for children with a range of communication difficulties, including neurodivergent and complex clients
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
Commitment to family-centred, evidence-based practice
Willingness to travel locally within a designated service area
