The Manager, Electrical Engineering will lead and oversee the electrical engineering team within the Facilities Group. This role is responsible for managing project execution on time and on budget, technical quality, team development, assist with proposals, perform technical field surveys if necessary, and client engagement for electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering design, team leadership, and project management.

What you will do:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical engineers and designers.
Oversee the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for various facility types.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into broader facility engineering projects.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, providing guidance and addressing concerns.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in electrical design methodologies.
Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and strategic planning.
Requirements
Who you are:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering for facilities, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
Certifications in LEED, Value Engineering, Energy Management or similar certifications are preferred.
Memberships and active participation in discipline specific professional organizations such as IEEE, CEE, etc.
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other relevant standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
