Job Title: Fintech Analyst / Equity Research Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Equity Research Analyst to support fundamental research, financial modeling, and investment analysis across listed companies and emerging fintech sectors. This role is ideal for early-career finance professionals who are passionate about capital markets and aspire to build a long-term career in equity research, asset management, or investment advisory.
The selected candidate will work closely with senior analysts to deliver high-quality research insights and valuation analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
Conduct in-depth company and industry research
Build and maintain financial models and basic valuation models (DCF, comparables)
Track quarterly earnings, results, and corporate announcements
Prepare research reports, investment notes, and presentations
Support senior analysts in stock coverage and investment recommendations
Monitor macroeconomic indicators and market trends
Assist in data collection and financial analysis for sectoral studies

Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Management
CA / CFA candidates preferred
CFA Level I cleared or pursuing is an advantage
Required Skills
Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals
Knowledge of equity markets and valuation concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and modeling
Understanding of DCF, relative valuation methods, and financial ratios
Strong analytical thinking and quantitative skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret financial data and derive insights
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
Exposure to Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, or similar financial databases
Basic knowledge of Python or VBA for financial analysis
Internship or academic project experience in equity research, financial modeling, or investment analysis
Strong interest in capital markets and fintech innovation
