Paid Freelancing gig to test out AI agent for equity research.
SIFRA ANALYST BETA PROGRAM
SIFRA is being built to become a reliable AI research analyst for professional investors.
Before we open it up more broadly, we are inviting a select group of 10 professional equity analysts from 10 different organizations to use SIFRA in their actual research workflows and help us make it production-ready.
This is not a conventional product beta.
We want analysts to stress-test SIFRA on real research questions, real companies and real workflows—and tell us where it works, where it doesn't, and what needs to change.
THE PROGRAM
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Compensation: 10,000
- Interaction: 2 calls per week with the SIFRA product & technology team
- Each analyst will receive access to SIFRA and will be expected to incorporate it into their regular research workflow during the program.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Use SIFRA on real research
- Use SIFRA for actual work you would ordinarily perform as an analyst.
This could include:
- Understanding a company's financial performance
- Investigating changes in margins or profitability
- Extracting information from annual reports and earnings releases
- Comparing periods, segments or business drivers
- Investigating management commentary
- Validating financial calculations
- Deep-diving into footnotes and disclosures
- Answering specific research questions about companies you cover
- The objective is to understand how SIFRA performs when used for real research—not artificial benchmark questions.
2. Stress test the system
We want you to actively look for where SIFRA breaks.
Tell us when:
- An answer is incorrect
- A source doesn't support the answer
- Relevant information is missed
- A calculation is wrong
- The system misunderstands the question
- The answer is technically correct but not useful
- The workflow takes longer than doing it manually
- Something you would expect from an AI research analyst is missing
- Negative feedback is as valuable as positive feedback.
3. Provide structured feedback
You'll be asked to share feedback on:
- Accuracy
- Source/citation quality
- Completeness
- Calculations
- Research usefulness
- Speed
- Ease of use
- Trust and confidence in the output
- Features and workflows you would want added.
4. Join 2 calls every week
You'll have two calls per week as per your convenience with members of the SIFRA product and technology team.
These calls will be used to:
- Review your experience
- Discuss failures and edge cases
- Understand your research workflow
- Investigate specific issues
- Prioritize product improvements
- Get direct feedback from a professional analyst
MINIUM EXPECTED USAGE
We expect participants to use SIFRA 5–7 times per week or more, depending on their research workload.
The more real-world research you put through SIFRA, the more valuable the program becomes—for both you and us.
WHAT YOU GET
- INR 10,000 Compensation
- Each selected analyst will receive 10,000 for successfully completing the 4-week program and fulfilling the participation requirements.
- Early Access to SIFRA
- Get access to SIFRA before its broader launch and experience the product as it evolves throughout the program.
- Direct Access to the Team
- You'll work directly with the people building SIFRA.
- Your feedback won't disappear into a generic feedback form—you'll discuss it directly with our product and technology team.
- Influence the product and the future of equity reseach
- Your real-world experiences will directly influence how SIFRA is built for professional equity researchers.
WHY WE ARE DOING THIS
AI can produce impressive answers in a demo.
The harder question is:
Can an analyst actually trust it enough to use it in their work?
That's what we want to find out.
We are deliberately bringing together 10 analysts from 10 different organizations so that we can test SIFRA across different research styles, workflows, expectations and use cases.
Our goal is simple:
Find every reason an analyst would not trust or use SIFRA—and fix it.
Participation is limited to 10 analysts.
We will prioritize applicants who:
- Are actively involved in equity/company research
- Have a meaningful research workload
- Can use SIFRA on actual work
- Are willing to actively stress-test the platform
- Can commit to the full 4-week program
- Bring a distinct research environment or workflow.
- Only one analyst will be selected from each organization.
Requirements
We are looking for full-time professional equity/research analysts who:
- Work at an AMC, PMS, investment firm, brokerage/research firm, hedge fund or similar organization
- Are actively involved in fundamental/company research
- Regularly work with annual reports, financial statements, earnings releases, transcripts and other company disclosures
- Can use SIFRA for actual research work, subject to their organization's policies
- Are willing to use the platform regularly throughout the 4-week program
- Can commit to two calls per week
- Are comfortable providing candid and detailed feedback
