Environmental Utilities is Roseville’s service provider for water, wastewater, waste services, recycled water and stormwater quality services. As an integrated utility, our goal is to provide high-quality, reliable and low-cost utility services. City ownership of these municipal utilities allows customers the dual benefit of reliable services and utility rates that remain among the lowest in the region. We
have a workforce of more than 350 employees, ranging from field workers and plant operations to professional engineering, finance and program analysts and managers. Together, the Environmental Utilities team operates and oversees:
• 100-million gallon per day water treatment plant
• Miles of pipes, hydrants, and water tanks
• Groundwater well program: 9 Aquifer Storage and Recovery Wells
• Two 30-million-gallon wastewater treatment facilities
• Miles of sewer mainlines, miles of sewer laterals, and 11,195 manholes
• Waste collection & recycling more than 100,000 tons annually
• Delivery of nearly 1.25 billion gallons of recycled water annually
