Company Overview
Countryside Veterinary Hospital & Wellness Center
Valley Center, CA 92082
Countryside Veterinary Hospital & Wellness Center has been proudly serving the Valley Center community and surrounding San Diego County since March 1988. Founded and owned by Dr. Deborah Hofler, we are a privately owned, veterinarian-led practice built on more than three decades of trusted, compassionate care.
Our campus is unlike any other in the region — a unique multi-building property that includes a full-service veterinary hospital, a dedicated wellness center, and Muddy Paws Country Spa & Boarding, offering grooming, daycare, and boarding services all in one convenient location. We are a true one-stop destination for pet owners in our community.
Valley Center is a close-knit, rural community, and we take that responsibility seriously. We are one of only a small number of veterinary practices serving this area, and we are actively growing to better meet our community's needs — including the expansion of urgent care and extended hours services that our region currently lacks.
At Countryside, we believe that great medicine starts with a great team. We foster a collaborative, supportive work environment where staff are valued, voices are heard, and professional growth is encouraged. Whether you are a veterinarian, technician, or support staff member, you will find a practice that invests in its people as much as it does its patients.
We are proud to be privately owned — no corporate ownership, no outside investors. Just a dedicated team, a beloved community, and a shared commitment to the animals and families who count on us every day.
