Description
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney (0–5 years experience) who is eager to take on substantive responsibility, grow into a leadership role within the firm, and contribute to a collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who values mentorship, autonomy in practice, and a balanced work environment. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to take over the practice upon retirement of the owner.
Role Highlights:
Begin with in-office training and mentorship to learn firm processes and case handling.
Transition to a hybrid work schedule once acclimated.
Manage and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and client communications.
Participate in court appearances and negotiations.
Work directly with senior attorneys to refine strategy and legal writing.
Requirements
Licensed to practice in California
Admitted to the State Bar and in good standing
0-5 years of litigation and/or civil practice experience
Strong legal research and writing skills
Coachable, professional, and committed to long-term growth
Comfortable interacting with clients and handling independent tasks
