Description
Armistice Brewing Company is excited to add an experienced Brewer to our tight-knit production team. At Armistice, we operate with an “all hands on deck” mentality: every brewer is responsible for brewing, cellaring, packaging, and warehouse work — including deliveries and pickups of product and ingredients.
This role offers the unique opportunity to gain wide-ranging experience across the brewing process instead of being cornered into the same repetitive tasks. One week you might spend more time on the brew deck, the next you could be cellaring, canning, washing kegs, or handling logistics. It’s varied, dynamic, and always fresh.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for thoughtful, fresh beer and thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate can balance multiple priorities at once, shifting seamlessly between tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Prior brewing experience is ideal, but not required — we’re willing to train the right candidate with a go-getter mentality, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Wort production: milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, whirlpooling, and knockout
Cellar operations: yeast handling, monitoring fermentations, dry hopping, fining, and keg washing
Packaging: kegs, cans, and bottles — including keg washing and QA checks
Warehouse work: ingredient and product deliveries/pickups
Setup and tear-down of hard and soft piping assemblies
Carbonation, QA checks, and preparation for packaging
Perform CIP/SIP, preventative maintenance, and general housekeeping
Maintain accurate brewing logs and follow SOPs
Represent Armistice Brewing Company at the brewery and off-site events
