- Buchanan HS Boys Swimming and Diving Coach
Description
The ideal candidate will serve as the head coach for Buchanan High School (BHS) Boys Swim and Dive Head Coach as well as the Director of Sport (Swim and Dive) for the High School area. This also includes the opportunity for additional income and experience as an assistant coach with the Senior groups with the Clovis Swim Club (USA Swimming Silver Medal Podium Club). Buchanan High School is part of the CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) Central Section, and perrenially finish in the top 3 schools in the section. Clovis Swim Club is owned and operated by the Clovis Unified School District (CUSD). BHS recently finished 16th at the CIF State Championship meet (out of the 108 schools scoring in the competition). Buchanan High School houses a 16 lane x 25 yard pool on campus, which only facilitates BHS aquatics programs and club programming for CUSD.
The top candidate will be able to exhibit the ability to develop swimmers across all levels, build strong staff culture, foster a positive and inclusive environment, and guide the program to continued success at the league, Section, and CIF State level.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be willing to teach Mathematics or Special Education classes at Buchanan High School or possibly it's feeder Intermediate School, Alta Sierra.
Must possess or be eligible for appropriate California public school teaching credential.
