Description
Business Operations Manager, Databricks, Inc., San Francisco, CA. Support planning and development of Databricks’ U.S. Global Mobility and Immigration program to support the organization’s growth and workforce needs. Establish and implement policies and procedures for employee relocation, immigration, and tax compliance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements. Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to design and execute short- and long-term global mobility strategies, balancing operational efficiency and employee experience. Manage relationships with external relocation, immigration, and tax service providers, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements and high-quality delivery. Analyze program data, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements to optimize cost, compliance, and employee satisfaction. Prepare and maintain process documentation, reports, and communications for leadership and stakeholders. Identify and execute special projects related to global workforce planning, policy updates, and technology enhancements for mobility and immigration workflow. Telecommuting Permitted. (DBxCA098)
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $191,000 - $201,000/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting or related field, plus 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Global Mobility and Immigration or related role.
Qualifying experience must also include 60 months in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
- Implementing policies and procedures for global mobility and immigration programs within a corporate HR environment;
- U.S. employment-based immigration processes (e.g., H-1B, L-1, PERM) and their integration with relocation and tax compliance;
- Manage vendor relationships (relocation, tax, immigration) to meet defined service levels and improve employee experience;
- Analyze mobility/immigration program metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance; and
- Executing projects that scale or transform mobility and immigration operations.
