About Lucero Partners
Lucero Partners is a telehealth psychiatry practice for adults with ADHD, seeing patients in every state and territory except Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
What you can expect
Assessments and reviews. Assessments run for 50 minutes by video, with another 10 for notes. Titration reviews run for 25 minutes, with 5 for notes, and stay with the same psychiatrist.
Patients come prepared. Their referral has been checked, their rating scales are in, and their GP has had a letter covering blood pressure and any cardiac flags.

The appointment is usually the part of the job people enjoy. It’s the reports and letters afterwards that run into the evening. So we have a team to carry some of that for you. They’ll brief you before each appointment, put together a first draft of the report after it, and learn how you like things done. You review, edit and sign.
It’s optional, it costs you nothing, and you decide how much of it you use.
AI scribes. Notes and letters are drafted from the consultation for you to review and sign.
Administration (handled for you)
Administration (excluding state prescribing). Booking, payments, Medicare paperwork and GP correspondence are handled for you, and each state’s authority steps and dose limits are in the practice manual from your first day.
At your discretion
Your clinical judgement. Decide within the appointment or defer to a further one, booked and paid. The choice is yours alone, it has no bearing on your engagement, and both paths bill within MBS rules. If you’d rather not work under a decide-or-defer policy, expect $800 to $1,000 an hour instead.
Flexible
Sessions you choose. Sessions are rostered once they’re booked. Start with one a week, from anywhere in Australia, and add more when you’re ready. Evenings and weekends are available but never required, and there’s no on-call or inpatient work.
Terms. Contractor on your own ABN, non-exclusive, with no lock-in and two weeks’ notice either way. The first psychiatrists to join keep their rate locked in as the practice grows.
Clinical scope
Adult ADHD assessment, diagnosis and treatment, including titration and continuing care for adults already diagnosed. The practice follows the AADPA Australian Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guideline for ADHD, the RANZCP position statement ADHD across the lifespan and the AADPA prescribing guidance, with real-time prescription monitoring checked at every prescribing consultation.

Requirements
What you bring
FRANZCP, specialist registration in psychiatry with AHPRA, and eligibility to bill Medicare for telehealth consultations. Adult ADHD experience is welcome but not essential.
