Description
Position Summary
NASFAA seeks a customer-service-focused Database Specialist to serve as the internal point of contact for our AMS, iMIS. This role prioritizes two stakeholder sets - supporting staff and leadership constituents during and after a transition from the current platform to the cloud-based version, and to members in the delivery of assistance for member questions, payments, and other support areas.
While this position is housed within the Membership Department, it is a cross-functional role as this person will work with internal and external teams to maintain, modify, train, and guide the use of the iMIS Staff site. Further, this role will be integral to the migration from use of the desktop platform to the site-based one; testing, data confirmation, report updating and writing, and other related tasks.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in multiple versions of iMIS and maintains a service-focused demeanor, making the nuances of the database management approachable and understandable. They can get into the details of the data, work with internal and external teams to determine the best delivery method, and help enable constituents to self-serve.
