Description

Responsibilities

•      Lead and develop a diverse team across sales, production, administration, and installation, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement to deliver business results.
•      Maintain a continuous focus on delivering positive customer results, including exceptional customer service, accountability, craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.
•      Manage the overall financial and operating performance of the company, including P&L responsibility.
•      Establish and track meaningful performance metrics across sales, production, and installation.
•      Develop relationships with water agencies, engineering firms, contractors, water treatment plants, and other customers.
•      Ensure the quality of proposals, quotations, specifications, project scopes, and contractual documents. 
•      Improve manufacturing efficiency, workflow, documentation, and quality-control processes while maintaining safety as a core process 
•      Analyze and recommend investments in personnel, equipment, technology, marketing, and manufacturing capabilities. 
•      Oversee overall marketing strategy including website, digital marketing, industry associations, literature, and other lead-generation activities for current and adjacent markets
•      Drive the sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial inquiry through close to project completion with a constant focus on delivering a high OTTR and continuous improvement 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

•      10+ years of progressively responsible business, technical, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or operations, ideally in water, wastewater, or a related industry.
•      Previous management or leadership experience.
•      Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand materials, engineered products, drawings, and specifications.
•      Experience managing projects involving contractors, engineers, or similar customers.
•      Strong sales and customer relationship skills.
•      Demonstrated ability to manage employees and multiple business functions.
•      Strong organizational and project management abilities.
•      Good financial and business judgment.
•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•      Ability to solve problems independently and make sound decisions.
•      Willingness to be actively involved in the details of the business when necessary.
•      Ability and willingness to travel periodically to customer sites and installation projects.

A degree in civil engineering, construction management, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, business, or a related discipline is preferred but not required for candidates with substantial relevant experience.
