Located in Fresno, California, H.O.P.E. Animal Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) multi-veterinarian, high-volume clinic dedicated to increasing access to veterinary care. Fresno is centrally located within California—just a few hours from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Yosemite, the Central Coast, and countless outdoor destinations.
H.O.P.E. Animal Foundation provides high-volume spay/neuter and wellness services five days a week (Monday–Friday), serving an average of 750 public and shelter-owned patients each week through our various programs. Our mission is simple: Every Pet Deserves a Vet.
This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about population control, shelter medicine, and making a direct impact on animal welfare. You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team performing high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter surgeries for owned pets, shelter animals, and rescue organizations.

- $30,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Annual salary ranging from $150,000–$225,000, based on experience

Part-time veterinarians are compensated on a daily basis with additional incentives for exceeding minimum daily production goals. Flexible scheduling options are available.

Requirements
- Must have a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university and be licensed in the state of California or eligible for license in California.
- DEA required to purchase and prescribe controlled drugs.
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills required.
- Possess the ability to work with people in a variety of high stress situations, and set a professional and positive example for other staff members.
- Previous low cost-high volume spay/neuter, shelter medicine experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preform spay and neuter surgeries.
- Performs evaluations to determine the health of individual animals and fitness for surgery.
- Make recommendations on disease control, sanitation, clinic procedures etc.
- Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the clinics policies and state / federal laws
- Performs other duties as requested.
