Most psychiatry jobs offer you a panel and a prescription pad. This one offers you an interventional psychiatry program: Spravato, Deep TMS, ketamine in every route, and patients other practices have run out of options for. We are hiring a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to practice at the growing edge of the field, with full training provided, inside a schedule built for an actual life.

About the role

This is a blended role, split roughly 50/50. About half your week is a general psychiatric panel: evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for patients ages 10 and up, with appointment lengths set for quality rather than volume. The other half is the interventional program: Spravato, Deep TMS, ketamine, and nitrous oxide. Twelve months in, success looks like this: you carry a psychiatric panel you know well, you have run the Spravato program day to day, trained into ketamine and Deep TMS, and become the physician the rest of the team brings its hardest treatment-resistant cases to. Whether you arrive with interventional experience or just the hunger for it, we train you in every modality we offer.

A quality of life position

We built this role around the life physicians keep saying they want. Four days a week, Monday to Thursday, with a three-day weekend every single week. Outpatient only: no call, no hospital rounds, no weekend clinic, and no RVU treadmill. Appointment lengths that let you actually practice psychiatry, an administrative team that runs the prior authorization machinery with you rather than dumping it on you, and a practice built around doing right by patients who had run out of options. You will make a very good income here without grinding for patient counts.

What you will do

  Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for ages 10 and up, with appointment lengths set for quality of care.

  Own daily operation of the Spravato program: candidate evaluation, induction and maintenance dosing, and on-site oversight of treatment sessions under REMS.

  Train into and deliver our other interventional treatments: Deep TMS, ketamine therapy and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and nitrous oxide. Training in every        modality is provided.

  Guide treatment selection for treatment-resistant cases: which patients need Spravato, which need TMS or ketamine, and which need a different path entirely.

  Serve as collaborating physician for the practice’s nurse practitioners, providing the collaboration and oversight Indiana requires, with review time built into your schedule rather than stacked on top of it. This responsibility is reflected in the compensation.

  Work with our administrative team on prior authorizations and REMS documentation so patients start treatment without avoidable delay.

  Help shape the interventional program as it grows, including new modalities on our roadmap.

Requirements

What we are looking for
Required:

   Board certified or board eligible psychiatrist (MD or DO, ABPN).

   Active Indiana medical license, or eligibility for Indiana licensure. Candidates relocating to the Fort Wayne area are welcome.

   Active DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one.

   Experience caring for patients with depression and other psychiatric conditions.

   Current BLS certification.

Preferred:

   Direct experience with Spravato and REMS requirements, TMS, or ketamine therapy.

   Interest or training in interventional and emerging treatments.

   Experience with treatment-resistant depression populations.

   Residents and fellows completing training within the next 12 months are encouraged to apply.

Schedule, compensation, and benefits
   Four day work week: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Three day weekends, every week.

   Salary range: $250,000 to $320,000, based on experience.
