What You’ll be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Provide individual therapy, tailored to each client.
- Take the time to understand each client's unique experiences.
- Develop and maintain thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in training, consultation and ongoing learning opportunities that support high-quality care.
Requirements
The Kind of Therapist Who Will Thrive Here
- Licensed Therapist
LMHC in New York.
- Strong Clinical Skills
Experience providing evidence-based therapy and developing strong therapeutic relationships.
- Passion for Women's Mental Health
Experience or interest in working with perinatal and postpartum clients, and mothers.
- Commitment to Clinical Excellence
A clinician who is dedicated to providing exceptional care through thoughtful treatment planning, paying close attention to each client's unique experiences, and therapy that is tailored to their individual needs and goals.
- Practical skills
Comfort using electronic health records, telehealth platforms and Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diagnostic Privilege (or eligibility to obtain Diagnostic Privilege)
- Experience working with additional populations, such as couples, children, adolescents, or families
- Training and certification in EMDR, somatic therapy and/or ERP
