The role uses advanced SQL, data visualization, and payments expertise to identify opportunities to increase authorization and conversion, reduce processing costs, prevent material fraud and chargeback losses, and improve payment reliability across markets, channels, and providers. Unlike transaction-review roles that make accept-or-decline decisions on individual orders, this position analyzes portfolio trends and converts findings into business, product, routing, and risk recommendations. The manager partners with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, ACI, Braintree, Stripe, and internal Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Fraud Prevention teams.
