A fully equipped optometric exam room will be ready for use, giving the right doctor the opportunity to establish an independent practice without making a major upfront investment in exam-room equipment.
This could be an excellent fit for an optometrist who:
Currently works at another practice but wants to begin building something of their own
Wants to start 2–3 days per week and gradually expand
Is interested in developing a long-term independent practice
Wants the flexibility of private practice without having to build an entire office from scratch
Values a modern, professional and welcoming environment
The Opportunity
SUBLEASE ONLY — Independent Practice
The optometrist will operate their own independent professional practice within the Heritage Optical location.
The doctor will maintain control over their professional and clinical practice, including patient care and records, in accordance with California requirements.
Heritage Optical will operate separately as an independent optical boutique.

We’d Love to Meet an OD Who Is:
Currently licensed to practice optometry in California
Professional, friendly and dependable
Patient-focused with strong communication skills
Interested in building or expanding an independent practice
Credentialed with, or willing and able to become credentialed with, major vision plans such as VSP and EyeMed
Interested in a long-term opportunity
Private-practice or retail-optical experience is a plus
Korean or Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
Schedule
We anticipate beginning with approximately 1–2 days per week, with the possibility of additional days as the practice develops.
Specific days and hours can be discussed as part of the sublease arrangement.
Sublease Terms
Sublease terms will be discussed based on schedule, availability and the overall arrangement.
Our goal is to create a clear, professional and mutually beneficial long-term relationship while allowing the optometrist to maintain an independent practice.
