Practice full-scope optometry (therapeutics, glaucoma management, procedures, myopia control, specialty contacts, etc.) in this well-established, privately owned, multi-specialty eye care group in beautiful Central California. ODs primarily see their own patients and help create policies, procedures, and schedules. Workup technicians, scribes, and contact lens personnel are provided. The team of ophthalmologists is personable and pro-optometry. They are skilled in cataracts, oculoplastics, LASIK, and state-of-the-art glaucoma and AMD treatments. Office equipment is modern (automated phoropters, OCT, fundus photography, visual fields, EMR, etc.). The office décor is comfortable, and the optical is couture. Visalia boasts a unique local flair and a reasonable cost of living, and it’s two hours from surf or snow.

Optometric demand in the area is strong, so productivity bonuses can be very profitable. Full benefits package with paid vacation, education, insurance, licensing, flex time accommodations, etc. Base salary with productivity bonus, which could reasonably reach over $160,000.
