Description

Seeking a motivated, organized and detail-oriented Paralegal for our Personal Injury law firm. We are looking for a Paralegal to handle cases from A to Z, including both pre-litigation and litigation. The position requires someone who can work closely with the attorney, manage case files, deadlines, communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel, and assist with cases through settlement, discovery, depositions, mediations, calendaring all files and prepping and filing. Personal Injury experience is preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate. Bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Legal or Paralegal experience preferred, Personal Injury experience is a plus but not required, we will train the right candidate.

Knowledge of Pre-Litigation and Litigation.

Pre-Litigation: Ability to learn and handle cases from intake through settlement, including medical records and billing, insurance claims, treatments and follow-up, demand packages, negotiations, and settlement.

Litigation: Filing, Preparing and organizing pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, working side by side with the attorney to prep for mediations and or trial. 

Calendaring, making sure we have everything up to date for all files.

Strong Organizational, Communication, and time management skills.  

Ability to manage cases, deadlines, court dates, discovery deadlines and client communications.

Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.

Must be able to work in office full time.
