The Proposal Management Senior is responsible for managing all activities related to the development, planning, and scheduling of proposals. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage of all activities involved in the development of new business proposals, pre-qualifications, customer bid documents such as RFxs, and unsolicited customer proposals.
• Project management of the RFx life cycle for multiple proposals at the same time.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to compose, edit, and produce business proposals, qualification packages, preliminary reports, presentations, and other materials.
• Coordinate and lead proposal meetings, such as kick-off meetings, status calls, and reviews.
• Develop a proposal schedule and responsibility matrix that communicates team member responsibilities and timelines to ensure timely development and delivery of proposals and all customer deliverables.
• Lead the creation and continuous improvement of documentation required for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. This may include developing graphics, improved formatting, and narrative content.
• Work with the pursuit team to create a winning strategy using consistent messaging, customer “hot button” themes, discriminators, and compelling content that aligns with requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Facilitate clear, informed, and efficient go/no-go decisions to support raising the win-ratio.
• Conduct activities required to successfully perform proposals reviews and debrief to authors.
• Manage the development of interview presentations, discussions, and proposal revisions.
• Conduct and document proposal lessons learned and implement actions to improve process efficiencies.
• Coordinate and support the production, reproduction, binding, and packaging in finalizing the proposal submission and response processes.
• Maintain and improve corporate style/branding guidelines through all written documentation.
• Work with proposal automation software, Responsive, primarily for content management and status reporting.

Requirements:

• Strong written and editorial skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to detail.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• 3+ years of experience for an energy, AEC, or similar firm preferred.
• 3+ years of technical proposal management/writing experience preferred.
• APMP Foundation-level certification. Practitioner or Professional preferred.
• Knowledge of Responsive or other proposal automation software is not required but preferred.
