Psychiatric NP (PMHNP): one afternoon a week (Tuesday or Friday), 12 to 5 PM, telehealth after 3 weeks, Catonsville, MD

Pay structure (part-time W-2 employee):

• Base pay: $70 to $90 per hour, set by your experience.
• Per-patient bonus: $10 for each patient when the visit is completed, the note is signed, and prescriptions are sent the same day.
• Benefits: malpractice insurance paid by the clinic.

What you'll do

• See psychiatric and Suboxone patients one afternoon a week, Tuesday or Friday, 12 noon to 5 PM.
• Listen to each patient's concerns and build a plan that keeps them coming back.
• Send prescriptions to the pharmacy right after each visit, and sign notes the same day.
• If a patient is late or misses a visit, reach out during the shift by phone, text, or email through our clinic system.
• Occasionally, if one or two patients miss their regular visit, we may ask for a short 1 to 2 hour video session on another day, such as an evening, to catch them up. It's paid at the same rate, including the per-patient bonus.

What makes it easy

• Automatic reminders go out 1 to 2 days before each visit.
• You keep final say on every prescription, under your own license.

How we work

• Reliability comes first. Your day is fixed once we set it. If something comes up, you tell us days ahead, not the same morning.
• Same-day finish. Notes signed and prescriptions sent before you log off.
• You own your patients' follow-through. If a patient misses their visit, keep calling and offer a video visit during the shift, so they are seen and don't go without their prescription. We want patients to stay in treatment, not just get seen.
• Harm reduction, not punishment. For Suboxone patients, a slip means a tighter plan, not discharge.
• Small clinic, direct line. No layers of management. You talk to the owner, and problems get fixed fast.

This role is not a fit if you need a flexible or changing schedule, you prefer to finish notes later in the week, or you aren't comfortable treating opioid use disorder.

Requirements

Must-haves

• Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)
• Maryland RN and CRNP licenses
• DEA registration in Maryland, and comfortable prescribing Suboxone
• At least 1 year as a mental health NP
• A private, quiet space for video visits
