Fellowship House is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient psychiatric services to members served by our agency.

This position is responsible for providing medication management, completing psychiatric assessments, maintaining an outpatient caseload, and supporting high-quality clinical care through peer reviews of other agency prescribers.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, clinically skilled, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team serving individuals experiencing severe mental illness.

This is an in-person position requiring 12–16 hours per week during regular weekday business hours at our South Miami location. Mornings required to see members already on site for day program.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Provide medication management for outpatient members
Maintain an assigned caseload
Document services in accordance with agency, regulatory, and clinical standards
Collaborate with clinical and case management teams
Participate in peer review of other agency prescribers
Participate in Insurance reviews and appeals for prescribed services.

Qualifications

Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Current Florida Medicaid provider enrollment is a plus.
Current Florida license in good standing
Ability to provide in-person services during weekday business hours
Experience working with adults with behavioral health needs preferred
Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
