Job Overview: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
We are excited to welcome a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) / Dental Assistant with pediatric experience to join our growing practice full time. Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for patient examinations and procedures
Chairside assist the dentist during a wide range of pediatric and general dental procedures
Take, process, and upload digital dental radiographs in compliance with safety standards
Perform accurate dental charting, documentation, and recordkeeping
Sterilize, disinfect, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-operative instructions
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, OSHA standards, and HIPAA regulations: - Teeth cleanings - Fluoride treatments -Oral hygiene education
Instruction on proper brushing and flossing techniques for children and families
Contribute to a welcoming, calm, and child-friendly environment for patients and their families

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent hands-on experience
Current RDA certification (preferred, where applicable)
Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred
Solid understanding of dental anatomy, terminology, procedures, and oral health conditions
Experience with chairside assisting, dental imaging, and instrument sterilization
Proficiency in infection control practices and aseptic techniques
Familiarity with dental software and imaging systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children and parents
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
