Description
Job Summary
Performs administrative and personnel security functions to support organizational compliance with established security policies and procedures. Responsible for managing clearance processes, issuing badges, maintaining security records, and coordinating security-related activities. Provides support to security staff and ensures accurate handling of sensitive information in a controlled environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs daily administrative tasks in support of the security department
Coordinates with agencies regarding security clearances and investigations
Verifies and processes employee and contractor clearance information
Issues security badges and maintains related records and logs
Schedules and coordinates security briefings and notifications
Ensures timely submission of documentation for clearances and reinvestigations
Conducts or facilitates security briefings for individuals and groups
Provides guidance to clerical and administrative staff
Maintains accurate documentation and compliance with security procedures
Performs additional related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Relevant education, military training, or experience in personnel/security administration
Knowledge of security policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage records, schedules, and documentation efficiently
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet security clearance requirements
