- Senior Director of the Si Se Puede Collective
Description
The Senior Director of the Sí Se Puede Collective:
The Sí Se Puede Collective is at a pivotal moment in its history. The Collective has advanced a five-year strategy to prevent displacement, protect cultural identity, and build lasting pathways for families to stay, grow, and thrive in Mayfair. The strategy is grounded in the understanding that displacement is not only a housing issue. It is also a regional economic, workforce, education, public health, cultural, and community power issue.
The Senior Director of the Sí Se Puede Collective will help to drive strategy, operations, implementation, and external relationships. This role will report to the Co-Executive Director at SOMOS Mayfair, and work closely with the five SSPC anchor organizations, executive leaders, initiative leads, community leaders, and funder partners to advance the Collective’s strategic plan and strengthen the infrastructure needed to deliver measurable neighborhood-level impact.
This position is responsible for helping move the Collective from strategy to disciplined implementation. The Senior Director will support operating rhythms across the five anchor organizations, strengthen coordination and communication, manage shared planning and accountability systems, support grants and funder alignment, and advance early work in evaluation, learning, community development, and collective infrastructure until additional resources are secured.
The role requires a leader who can operate with clarity, trust, humility, and discipline across multiple organizations. The ideal candidate will understand that the work of the Collective is not simply coordination. It is the work of building the connective infrastructure that makes permanence possible in Mayfair.
The Senior Director will help advance the Collective’s three strategic pillars:
- Breathe: Stabilize and partner with families so they are not pushed out during crises.
- Dream: Anchor opportunity, culture, and power in Mayfair so families and youth shape the community’s future across generations.
- Build: Create the continuity, ownership, and pathways families need to move forward economically and socially.
Together, these pillars move families from crisis response toward long-term permanence in Mayfair. When families are stabilized, opportunity is anchored, and infrastructure is built, displacement becomes preventable.
