Description
Wealth Advisor — East West Wealth Advisors LLC Vice President / Senior Vice President (title commensurate with experience) Los Angeles (Beverly Hills), CA Full-time Base salary range: $200,000 – $275,000, plus substantial cash and equity bonus potential based on performance
About us
East West Advisors LLC is the newly launched registered investment advisor of East West Bank, an $80B+ institution serving as the premier financial bridge between the United States and Greater China. We custody at Fidelity, report through Addepar, and are building our investment platform from the ground up — meaning the person who joins now helps define how it works rather than inheriting someone else's architecture.
Our investment philosophy is anchored by Jason Hsu, PhD, our Chief Economist and founder of Rayliant Global Advisors. We serve ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and foundations, many with cross-border US–Asia profiles.
The role
A hybrid investment and client-facing seat. You will help set investment policy, implement it across client portfolios, and sit in front of clients explaining what we are doing and why. Deliberately not a pure sales job and not a pure back-office job.
Contribute to investment policy formation and portfolio construction as part of a small thought-leadership team
Conduct securities research and translate it into portfolio decisions
Implement and monitor portfolios; trade and rebalance across the Fidelity platform
Build and maintain reporting, performance analytics and portfolio models in Addepar
Participate directly in client education, review meetings and new business development
Help design how artificial intelligence is applied across research synthesis, portfolio analytics and client communication — a genuine build, not a buzzword
Requirements
CFA charterholder, or Level III candidate with a clear path to completion
Three to seven years of relevant experience; title and compensation set accordingly
Demonstrated technical strength with investment and trading systems; hands-on experience with a major custodial platform (Fidelity, Schwab, Pershing or equivalent)
Genuine interest in securities research
Comfort working directly with sophisticated clients
