Coffs Harbour Health Campus and Port Macquarie Base Hospital
Mid North Coast Local Health District is seeking Staff Specialists in Psychiatry to join our growing Mental Health Services across both Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour. Multiple permanent positions are available across a range of clinical settings and service areas.
These roles provide an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multidisciplinary mental health service delivering contemporary, patient-centred care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings throughout the Mid North Coast region.
The successful applicants will provide high quality specialist psychiatric services while contributing to clinical leadership, supervision, teaching and service development within a complex and diverse healthcare environment. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support innovative models of care and improve mental health outcomes across the region.
Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition.
Candidates currently on the RANZCP Substantial Comparability Pathway will also be considered and must provide evidence of their comparability assessment as part of their application.
