The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Vice President of Transformation is responsible for the continuous evolution of transformational initiatives across the organization. Situated within the Complex Care portfolio and reporting to the Senior Vice President of Complex Care, this role provides executive leadership for WWP’s Transformation and Suicide Prevention functions. Through these teams, the Vice President helps shape the future of veteran mental and brain health by advancing innovative solutions, driving enterprise priorities, and strengthening outcomes for warriors and their families. The Vice President serves as the catalyst between WWP’s vision for the future and the operational systems that deliver impact today. In partnership with leaders across the organization, this role identifies emerging opportunities, develops and tests new approaches, and executes enterprise priorities, including WWP’s suicide prevention roadmap, to strengthen organizational impact and advance the mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, health administration, psychology, behavioral health, business administration, public health, public policy, or related field.
- Ten years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, mental health, public health, human services, nonprofit program leadership, strategy, innovation, transformation, or related field
- Eight years of staff management experience.
- Five years of experience leading programs or enterprise initiatives with responsibility for strategy development, execution, performance management, and outcomes.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that improve mental health, brain health, healthcare delivery, suicide prevention, or human performance outcomes through data-informed strategy, partnerships, and scalable execution.
