Description

The City of Glendale is looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to become our next Wireless Systems Technician.  Under supervision, this position will perform technical and complex work in the City's Wireless Communication Bureau.

Requirements

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. 

Experience:

One year of responsible experience in the installation, operation and maintenance of public safety communication systems.

Certifications/Licenses

Possession of a valid Federal Communications Commission General Radiotelephone Operator's License (GROL) or equivalent industry certification.

Transportation:

A valid California Driver’s License.

Highly Desirable:Completion of college-level coursework in electronic and radio theory or equivalent.
